Louth is a market town and civil parish in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. Louth is the principal town and centre for a large rural area of eastern Lincolnshire. Visitor attractions include St. James' Church, Hubbard's Hills, the market, many independent retailers, and Lincolnshire's last remaining cattle market.
Drogheda is situated on the River Boyne. is the main river that flows through the southern area of Co. Louth. Drogheda is one of the oldest towns in Ireland. It is located on the Dublin–Belfast corridor on the east coast of Ireland, mostly in County Louth but with the southern fringes of the town in County Meath, 49 km or 30 miles north of Dublin. The town is very proud of its River Boyne and the history of the town and churches. Although the source of the Boyne river is at the Bog of Allen in Co. Kildare, it travels over 70 miles to reach the sea at Mornington in Co.
This Irish county is the largest and southermost of the country, named after the city Cork, the second-largest city in Ireland and located in the province Munster.
